Prayer times by region in Colombia

Our pages in Colombia are organised in 33 regions. Open your region, then your city: each page has its own coordinates, so the times differ by a few minutes from one place to the next, east to west and north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Colombia

Times for Colombia use the Muslim World League method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 17° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC−5). In the capital Bogotá, Fajr is around 4:31 AM and Maghrib 6:10 PM around 21 June, while around 21 December Fajr comes at 4:44 AM and Maghrib at 5:50 PM. Daylight there ranges from 11 h 52 min to 12 h 23 min.

Our cities in Colombia stretch from San Andrés in the west to Puerto Carreño in the east, and from San Andrés in the north to Leticia in the south. With such a distance, the sun reaches its zenith in Puerto Carreño about 57 minutes before San Andrés, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also varies between north and south, especially in summer and winter, so the timetable of Bogotá is no substitute for that of your own city.
