Prayer times by region in Thailand

Our pages in Thailand are organised in 77 regions. Choose your region, then your city: every page has its own coordinates, which is why the times change by a few minutes between cities, from east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Thailand

Pages for Thailand use the Muslim World League method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 17° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC+7). In the capital Bangkok, Fajr is around 4:32 AM and Maghrib 6:48 PM around 21 June, while around 21 December Fajr comes at 5:20 AM and Maghrib at 5:55 PM. Daylight there ranges from 11 h 19 min to 12 h 56 min.

Our cities in Thailand stretch from Mae Hong Son in the west to Phibun Mangsahan in the east, and from Mae Sai in the north to Betong in the south. Because of this spread, the sun reaches its zenith in Phibun Mangsahan about 29 minutes before Mae Hong Son, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also differs between north and south, most of all in summer and winter, so the timetable of Bangkok cannot replace that of your own city.
