Prayer times by region in Türkiye

Our pages in Türkiye are organised in 81 regions. Open your region, then your city: each page has its own coordinates, which is why the times change by a few minutes from one place to the next, from east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Türkiye

Pages for Türkiye use the Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, Turkey method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 17° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC+3). In the capital Ankara, Fajr is about 3:17 AM and Maghrib 8:21 PM around 21 June, whereas around 21 December Fajr comes at 6:29 AM and Maghrib at 5:27 PM. Daylight there ranges from 9 h 20 min to 15 h.

Our cities in Türkiye stretch from Çeşme in the west to Şemdinli in the east, and from Sinop in the north to Anamur in the south. Because of this spread, the sun reaches its zenith in Şemdinli about 73 minutes before Çeşme, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also varies between north and south, especially in summer and winter, so the timetable of Ankara is no substitute for that of your own city.
