Prayer times by region in Poland

Our pages in Poland are organised in 16 regions. Choose your region, then your city: each page has its own coordinates, which is why the times change by a few minutes between cities, east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Poland

Times for Poland use the Muslim World League method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 17° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer). In the capital Warsaw, Fajr is about 2:04 AM and Maghrib 9:01 PM around 21 June, while around 21 December Fajr comes at 5:36 AM and Maghrib at 3:25 PM. Daylight there ranges from 7 h 42 min to 16 h 47 min.

Our cities in Poland stretch from Świnoujście in the west to Hrubieszów in the east, and from Wejherowo in the north to Zakopane in the south. With such a distance, the sun reaches its zenith in Hrubieszów about 39 minutes before Świnoujście, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also varies between north and south, most of all in summer and winter, so the timetable of Warsaw cannot replace that of your own city.
