Prayer times by region in Russia

Our pages in Russia are organised in 83 regions. Choose your region, then your city: every page has its own coordinates, which is why the times change by a few minutes between cities, from east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Russia

Times for Russia use the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia method: Fajr when the sun is 16° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 15° below the horizon. Times are shown in the local time of each city (UTC+3; UTC+5; UTC+4; UTC+2; UTC+7; UTC+8). In the capital Moscow, Fajr is around 2:01 AM and Maghrib 9:18 PM around 21 June, whereas around 21 December Fajr comes at 6:51 AM and Maghrib at 3:58 PM. Daylight there ranges from 7 h to 17 h 33 min.

Our cities in Russia stretch from Baltiysk in the west to Anadyr in the east, and from Talnakh in the north to Belidzhi in the south. Because of this spread, the sun reaches its zenith in Anadyr about 630 minutes before Baltiysk, which is one reason the country uses several time zones. Day length also varies between north and south, especially in summer and winter, so the timetable of Moscow is no substitute for that of your own city.
