Prayer times by region in Pakistan

Our pages in Pakistan are organised in 7 regions. Open your region, then your city: each page has its own coordinates, so the times differ by a few minutes between cities, east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Pakistan

Times for Pakistan use the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 18° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC+5). In the capital Islamabad, Fajr is about 3:14 AM and Maghrib 7:21 PM around 21 June, while around 21 December Fajr comes at 5:39 AM and Maghrib at 5:03 PM. Daylight there ranges from 9 h 55 min to 14 h 24 min.

Our cities in Pakistan stretch from Taftan in the west to Skardu in the east, and from Karimabad in the north to Chuhar Jamali in the south. Because of this spread, the sun reaches its zenith in Skardu about 56 minutes before Taftan, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also differs between north and south, especially in summer and winter, so the timetable of Islamabad cannot replace that of your own city.
