Prayer times by region in Guam

Our pages in Guam are organised in 19 regions. Open your region, then your city: every page has its own coordinates, which is why the times change by a few minutes between cities, from east to west and from north to south.

How prayer times are calculated in Guam

Pages for Guam use the Muslim World League method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha when the sun is 17° below the horizon. Times are shown in local time (UTC+10). In the capital Hagåtña, Fajr is about 4:36 AM and Maghrib 6:50 PM around 21 June, whereas around 21 December Fajr comes at 5:22 AM and Maghrib at 5:59 PM. Daylight there ranges from 11 h 20 min to 12 h 55 min.

Our cities in Guam stretch from Agat Village in the west to Yigo Village in the east, and from Yigo Village in the north to Merizo Village in the south. Because of this spread, the sun reaches its zenith in Yigo Village about 1 minute before Agat Village, even though the clock is the same everywhere. Day length also varies between north and south, most of all in summer and winter, so the timetable of Hagåtña is no substitute for that of your own city.
