How prayer times are calculated in Portugal
Pages for Portugal use the Islamic Community of Lisbon method: Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon and Isha 77 minutes after Maghrib. Times are shown in the local time of each city (UTC, UTC+1 in summer; UTC−1, UTC in summer). In the capital Lisbon, Fajr is about 4:14 AM and Maghrib 9:08 PM around 21 June, whereas around 21 December Fajr comes at 6:15 AM and Maghrib at 5:21 PM. Daylight there ranges from 9 h 27 min to 14 h 53 min.
Our cities in Portugal stretch from Ponta Delgada in the west to Bragança in the east, and from Monção in the north to São Martinho in the south. With such a distance, the sun reaches its zenith in Bragança about 76 minutes before Ponta Delgada, which is one reason the country uses several time zones. Day length also differs between north and south, especially in summer and winter, so the timetable of Lisbon is no substitute for that of your own city.
